The first vintage produced was 2002 in 2,298 bottles. All bottles are numbered by hand.
This extraordinary wine remains engraved on the memory just like the “pietrefinite”, or boundary stones, which have remained for centuries where our ancestors placed them to mark the borders of their vineyards. Hand-painted wooden box by the painters Mario Miccoli and Nadia Verrienti that reproduces a typical rose window found outside the Apulian churches. The box contains a bottle of Le Camarde Negroamaro & Primitivo IGP Salento.
Vegamaro is a pun with the words “vegan” and “negroamaro” and it is the first vegan negroamaro in the world. The whole production process, from the vine to the bottle, is done following a rigorous protocol. The grapes are cultivated avoiding manure, herbicide with an animal origin and pesticide. During the vinification process only vegetal substances are used. Bright red ruby wine; on the nose it is rich in crisp red fruits, with hints of sweet spices and roasted tobacco. Well-balanced, full bodied and elegant in the mouth with good tannic structure that enhances the flavour through to the long finish.

The denomination Salice Salentino Negroamaro is one of the first born in Puglia: in fact, it was established in April 1974. The geographical area dedicated to the production of this important DOP includes a total of 7 municipalities in Northern Salento including Guagnano. The Diecianni Salice Salentino Negroamaro has a compact red color with delicate garnet hues. The sensory profile is complex: it ranges from the typical notes of tobacco and vanilla. In the mouth it expresses sensations of bitter almond on a powerful tannin. Of these magnums, vintage 2016, only 762 bottles were produced and they are all sold with a certificate of authenticity.
This wine is produced with grapes from three vineyards located in an area named Camarda. We think of them as three old sisters (Le Camarde is the plural noun of Camarda) reliably giving us great wines every year. When young it is a dense ruby-red wine with a complex nose with hints of potpourri and dried flowers. Coffee and dark chocolate on the palate with a long finish supported by silky tannins.

Verdeca is one of the historical Puglia grape varieties. Its name comes from the particular pale green colour of the grape, which is also typical of the wine. The best type of soil for verdeca is shallow calcareous rock. In the glass the nose shows hints of green apple, lemon and star anise. Sensations of salt with good balance and finesse on the palate.
Wooden box finished with a print of a detail of the painting "I Negramanti" located in the tasting room of the Feudi di Guagnano winery. The box contains a bottle of Pietrafinita Salento IGT, one of Cupone Salice Salentino Negroamaro Riserva Doc and one of Nero di Velluto Negroamaro IGT Salento from the historic vintage selection.
