All grape varieties have their own story and primitivo is no exception: from Gioia del Colle it travelled to Manduria and then to Guagnano. Each Primitivo has different characteristics: DieciAnni Primitivo is an elegant and opulent wine. It has a dense red colour with intense violet tints. Voluptuous and persistent on the nose with a penetrating and intriguing perfume of violet. Soft tannins enhance the hints of liquorice, black cherry and plum.

This extraordinary wine remains engraved on the memory just like the “pietrefinite”, or boundary stones, which have remained for centuries where our ancestors  placed them to mark the borders of their vineyards. Ruby-red wine with purple tints. Hints of black cherry and liquorice on the nose. Cocoa and almond-stuffed figs on the mouth and a lengthy finish.

VIGNESALVE PRIMITIVO SALENTO IGP BIOLOGICO 2019

This organic primitivo has a low percentage of added sulphites. Ruby-red colour with violet tints. Red fruits (cherry and blackberry) with floral hints (rose), vanilla and nutmeg. Warm in the mouth with roasted hints of cocoa. The wine finishes dry with a good balance.

Chardonnay is cultivated all around the world, even though it has different features (taste, hints, colour and personality) depending on the soil where it is cultivated. DieciAnni Chardonnay is a straw-coloured wine; the palate is full flavoured with hints of pear, pineapple, aromatic herbs and spicy notes. On the finish it is well balanced.

Each of them has taste, aromas, color and personality that speak of the area in which it is grown. Like this Diecianni: a straw yellow wine that releases notes of pear, pineapple and aromatic herbs. Extraordinary on the palate with a spicy entrance and a finish with good sapidity.

LE CAMARDE NEGROAMARO & PRIMITIVO SALENTO IGP 2020

This wine is produced with grapes from three vineyards located in an area named Camarda. We think of them as three old sisters (Le Camarde is the plural noun of Camarda) reliably giving us great wines every year. When young it is a dense ruby-red wine with a complex nose with hints of potpourri and dried flowers. Coffee and dark chocolate on the palate with a long finish supported by silky tannins.
